1 Cup whole wheat flour

In a pan take water 3 cup and sugar 1 cup together and bring to boil. |

Let the sugar dissolves. Switch off the flame and keep aside. |

Meanwhile take a wok/kadai add clarified butter/ghee. Let the clarified butter/ ghee melt on a low flame. |

Once Clarified butter/ghee melts add flour/atta 1 cup and stir. |

Keep on stirring on a low flame until golden brown and avoid burning. |

Once done, add sugar syrup to the roasted flour and keep on stirring slowly to avoid lumps. |

Cook the halwa until clarified butter/ghee starts leaving sides. |
