Which flour to be used: I have used 2 parts of wheat flour and one part of all purpose flour. You can use either wheat flour or all purpose flour.

Use of buttermilk: In traditional Irish soda bread is made with buttermilk, but i replaced buttermilk with milk and vinegar. Buttermilk is alkaline in nature and its react with baking soda which result in dense and moist bread. Milk and vinegar are always works the same as buttermilk do.

Don’t want to use: if you do not want to use milk powder you can use sugar with same quantity. You can also replace butter with vegetable oil.

Baking temperature: Bake in a preheated oven at 220° C for 20 minutes, and after 20 minutes reduce the temperature to 200° C and bake for another 30 minutes.
