Simple and easy to go breakfast, just soak them in milk before sleeping, and next morning top it with fresh fruits, nuts and serve. Gluten free and vegan breakfast. You can have this chocolaty, creamy and thick chai pudding as breakfast or dessert.

WHAT IS CHIA PUDDING?

Chia seeds are the edible seeds which have no flavor. These tiny seeds are full of antioxidants, protein, fibre and gluten free. Chia seeds can also be mixed into smoothies, breakfast cereals and pudding. Chia pudding made with a milk, sweetener and whole chia seeds. The pudding will taste like whatever flavor and sweetener you’re using. You can add flavor like vanilla extract and cinnamon along with the sweetener of your choice.

INGREDIENTS FOR CHIA SEED PUDDING

Chia seeds – The secret ingredient of the pudding.
Almond milk – I have used homemade almond milk for chai pudding. You can use any milk of your choice, almond milk or coconut milk.
Cocoa powder – Use unsweetened cocoa powder.
Banana – Serve with fruits to enhance the flavor.
Honey – You can replace out the honey with maple syrup.
Walnuts – You can serve this pudding with any nuts of your choice.
Dark Chocolate – Used grated dark chocolate to enhance the chia pudding flavor.

HOW TO MAKE CHIA SEED PUDDING

This chia pudding recipe contains four main ingredients, i.e chia seeds, milk of your choice, sweetener and flavor. For flavor if you are making chocolate or fruit chai pudding then you need to add cocoa powder or fruit of your choice in the pudding. The chia pudding is simple and easy to make.

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and stir. Cover the bowl and place the chia seed pudding in the fridge for overnight or until it is set. The next morning you have a delicious and healthy breakfast waiting. Top it with sliced banana, walnuts and grated chocolate and serve.

In a bowl, mash the bananas.

Add in honey, chia seeds and cocoa powder.

Lastly, add in almond milk, whisk thoroughly until combine well.

Cover the bowl and let sit in the refrigerator for overnight or at-least for three hours.

Serve next day, pour into glass or bowl and top with fresh banana slices, walnuts and some grated dark chocolate.
